FAQ
Questions people actually ask before they sign.
Does Pemfy hold my coins?
No. There is no deposit step. A swap is an unsigned transaction until your wallet broadcasts it. If you reject it, the coins stay where they were.
What is Pemfy?
A crypto swap and payment gateway. You pick the coins and the chains. The page shows a route. You sign in the wallet you already use. If more than one route comes back, the page keeps the one that gives you more of the output token, or that spends less when you asked for an exact output.
Why did the output number change?
Quotes are a snapshot. Pools move. A bridge may also show a different amount once it settles. The wallet confirmation is the number to read before you sign, not the first figure that flashed on the page.
Do I need an account?
No. Connect a wallet, do the swap or the payment, disconnect. Activity for that address is loaded when the wallet is connected.
How long do you keep a transfer?
After a row is marked done, failed, or cancelled, it is deleted about 3 days later. A row that never reaches one of those states is deleted after 36 hours. Cleanup runs on a schedule, and it can also be run on demand. Quotes are not stored.
The destination wallet has no token account. What now?
On Solana, a different destination wallet needs a token account for that mint, or you send to the same wallet that signed. The app says so before it asks you to sign. Native SOL can be aimed at another address directly.
Something failed after I signed. Did Pemfy take the tokens?
A failed or stuck transfer is between the route and the chains. Check the transaction on the explorer from the hash in Activity. Pemfy cannot reverse a transaction it did not sign. If you want a human to look at a hash, write through the contact page and include the hash only.
